This exam is referred to as a routine check up. In this checkup we examine the health of your mouth and teeth and inform you of any potential problems.

• In the first part of the examination, we will check your face and neck. Look for any abnormalities, such as lumps, bumps or swelling.

• The next step is checking inside your mouth. We will be looking for any abnormalities in the soft tissue. Discolorations or ulcers on your tongue, gums, lips, cheeks or palate. We will also check for any potential problems with your jaw joint and bite.

• We will check the foundations of your teeth and carefully look around for any signs of gingivitis, gum or bone disease.

• And finally, your teeth. In this step, we will be checking for any cavities or other health problems. We will consult to you about teeth cleaning habits and discuss the most appropriate ways to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
